Service Providers

AVAILABLE NOW

Pay the businesses that deliver work to you.

Pay agencies, consultancies, media companies, and other service provider businesses for work delivered to you, the same way you'd pay a contractor, just set up for a business instead of an individual.

Who you might be paying

A design studio for a rebrand, a PR consultancy on monthly retainer, a video production company for a one-off shoot, a software company for a custom build, any business you'd otherwise be wiring money to or wrestling with an unfamiliar local bank transfer for.

What's included

  • Service Provider payee records: business name and business banking details, not an individual profile
  • Payment preparation, review, and send through the same workforce payment flow
  • Payment history and reconciliation

How service provider records differ from individual worker records

Contractor and employee payments are built around individuals, compensation rates and personal payout details. Service Provider payments are built around businesses: no compensation rate, no individual payout profile, just a business you pay for work delivered.

A note on the other side

A service provider belongs to the workforce you pay. That same registered business may also use Receive Payments to collect card payments from its own international clients. These are two different payment relationships.

Pricing is the same for every business payment: 5% by bank transfer for eligible US business bank accounts ($1,000 minimum, no cap), or 8% by card with no minimum and no cap. You can split the cost with the service provider, down to a 4% share of your own.
