About Otority
We make cross-border work easier to pay for.
US and international businesses need to manage and pay the contractors, employees, and service-provider businesses they work with across African markets. Otority connects those records and payments. Registered African businesses can also receive payments from clients abroad.
This started with a problem we lived.
Before Otority was a product, it was the day-to-day work of managing and paying staff across African markets for businesses outside Africa. Every month brought another bank app, another set of local rules, and another question about whether someone had actually been paid on time.
The problem was not carelessness. Each market has its own currency, payment routes, and requirements. Tools built for somewhere else rarely fit the work as it actually happens here.
So we built what we needed. Otority grew from that experience, starting with the parts we know deeply: keeping workforce records connected to payments and helping registered African businesses collect from clients abroad.

What Otority is not.
We're not trying to become:

- A generic payment processor
- A traditional recruitment agency
- A complete HR system for every business
Our focus is workforce infrastructure. Extra gives us room to help with real customer needs without turning Otority into something unfocused.
