Receive Payments

Sell the placement. Make it easy to collect the payment.

A US or international brand wants to buy space with your registered African publishing business. Let them pay by card without your own US legal entity.

The campaign is ready. The payment route is not.

The sponsor agrees on a newsletter placement, a branded story or ad space. You reserve inventory and plan the work. Then their finance team asks for a card payment option you cannot offer directly.

A cross-border wire can involve a separate approval path and unfamiliar details for a campaign that should move quickly. Explaining why the client cannot simply pay you can stall sign-off. When the launch window matters, payment friction can put the booking itself at risk.

The slot is waiting

A campaign schedule cannot move forward confidently while collection is unresolved.

The buyer hesitates

The team that approved the placement may not be the team arranging payment.

More work around one invoice

Time goes into explaining the transfer instead of preparing the placement.

Let the agreement lead to a payment, not a detour.

Share an Otority payment link with the client. They pay by card through Stripe. You see the received funds in your Otority balance, then choose to hold them or move them to your local bank account. Your business does not need to create a US legal entity to collect the card payment.

The deal should be about the audience you can reach, not the route the money takes.

Hold or move your funds

See the received balance, then hold it or move it to your local bank account.

Know what receiving costs.

For registered African publishing businesses receiving card payments from US and international clients. Otority charges a flat 8% receiving fee with no cap. Moving received funds to your own local bank account has no additional fee; holding a balance is free.

You can split the receiving fee with your client. Your own share cannot drop below 3%.
